Description

Sisyrinchium bellum, commonly known as Western Blue-Eyed Grass, is a graceful native perennial featuring slender, grass-like foliage and charming star-shaped violet-blue flowers with bright yellow centers. A member of the iris family rather than a true grass, it blooms from late spring through early summer and is an excellent choice for wildflower meadows, borders, rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and naturalized landscapes.
